We are seeking a professional and caring Dental Nurse to join a dental practice and support the dental team in delivering safe and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist and wider dental team during procedures.
Prepare and maintain the dental surgery and equipment.
Support patients before, during and after treatment.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control.
Prepare, clean and sterilise dental instruments in line with relevant procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and follow confidentiality requirements.
Work effectively as part of the wider dental team.
Requirements:
Relevant dental nursing qualification or recognised training pathway.
GDC registration where required for the role.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, professional and patient-focused approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Previous dental nursing experience is desirable.
Please note: Dental professionals must be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) before practising in the UK where registration is required. Trainee dental nurses may be employed while undertaking an approved route leading to registration, subject to the applicable requirements.
